Curry Beef Pita Pockets Ingredients · 1 pound ground beef · 1 medium onion, chopped · 1 garlic clove, halved · 1 tablespoon curry powder · 1/2 cup water · 1-1/2 teaspoons salt · 1/2 teaspoon sugar · 1/4 teaspoon pepper · 1 medium tomato, seeded and diced · 1 medium zucchini, diced · 4 pita pocket breads Directions In a large skillet pan, brown the ground beef with the onion, garlic and curry; drain and discard garlic. Mix in the water, salt, sugar and pepper. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes. Add the tomatoes and zucchini chunks; cook until heated through. Spoon out the meat mixture into pita pockets.
